2007 Clio 197 F1 Team R27

Nicks Clio 172 was sold on as it a newer car was decided on - the 197 seemed a natural progression from the 172. It offers frantic performance, with the refinement of a new car - with a high specification as standard.

This car features Recaro seats, Brembo 4 Pot brakes with red painted callipers, Cup suspension (springs 27 per cent stiffer at the front, 30 per cent stiffer at the rear. 7mm lower ride height. This results in 10 per cent less body roll over a regular 197) The R27 model also comes standard with anthracite wheels. Only 500 of these were made, this being number 314 (the second R27 in the Playtoy stable)

In addition to standard specification this car also has cornering lights, auto headlights, climate control and auto wipers. A cup spoiler has also been fitted which is a replica of the spoiler fitted to the 2008 Clio Cup racer.

As the car has a good standard setup, modifications to this car will be limited to an exhaust to add a more sporty note. There are a number of options which will be considered, including the Milltek system and the offering from Yozza Sport and Ktec Racing.
