This is Simon's Subaru Impreza STI Type UK - the first STI produced using the new shape Impreza. A 2.5 liter boxer engine outputting 300 BHP is standard for the Subaru giving it a 0-60 time of 5.2 seconds. It also features an adjustable center differential (DCCD) which allows the driver to adjust the power distribution bias from front to rear. SI - Drive is also a new feature which allows different throttle maps to be selected which make a noticeable difference to the response of the Impreza.
The wheels which came on the car were 17", after much deliberation it was decided that these BBS wheels would just finish the car off nicely. They are wearing Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetricos which offer very good all round grip, if its wet or dry.
STI Front Splitter
To try and give the front end a more aggresive edge Simon has fitted the STI front splitter, this sits along the bottom of the front bumper and gives the Impreza a meaner and lower look at the front end. Featuring a small STI badge in the center.
